Miguel Rivera is a twelve year old boy who loves music despite his family's longstanding ban on it. He admires the celebrated singer Ernesto de la Cruz and secretly teaches himself to play guitar. He believes he is the descendant of Ernesto. When he ends up in the Land of the Dead, he wants to prove to Ernesto that he is a musician worthy of his heritage.
Kingdom Hearts IV brings Miguel into Sora's adventure in the Land of the Dead. Revealed footage shows him performing and assisting in battle alongside Héctor using a guitar.
