First Official Gameplay Trailer
The June 2026 Nintendo Direct showcased the first actual Kingdom Hearts gameplay footage and showed the new Build system with an unnamed Fire and water keyblade as well as the Kingdom Key. We also got a glimpse at some new and returning characters.
After four years with no trailers, the June 2026 Nintendo Direct delivered a gameplay trailer focused on Quadratum. Highlights from the trailer include:
- A new Cloaked Figure, Sigurd, Vali, real Luxord, and Xehanort were all confirmed were all shown.
- The Build system was shown off showcasing evolving combos.
- A lava and Water keyblade was shown while in its Build mode. Its unclear what this belongs too.
- The Kingdom Key's Build system was shown to focus on creating chains and riding keyblades.
- some basic combat and classic moves such as dodge roll, barrier block, and a much faster combo.
- To be released multiplatform at launch
