Young Xehanort
Xehanort from another time
A Young Xehanort is seen with an umbrella in Quadratum's Streets.
Xehanort was born in Scala ad Caelum and raised on Destiny Islands before returning to Scala to train under Master Odin with Eraqus. Dark Road follows the losses that shaped his view of the world, including the deaths of fellow students during Baldr's descent into darkness. His desire to understand and ultimately remake the world would lead him to become Master Xehanort.
The young Xehanort fought in Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III was drawn from the past into his older self's plans. After his defeat at the Keyblade Graveyard, that younger heart returned to its own time, while the elderly Xehanort later surrendered to Sora and departed with Eraqus.
Kingdom Hearts IV footage shows a young-looking Xehanort with an umbrella, interacting with Sora and appearing opposite Luxu. It has not established where these scenes belong in his personal timeline or why he is in Quadratum. Melody of Memory revealed that Xehanort (Terranort) knew of a world beyond light and darkness.
