Naminé
Kairi's Nobody
A special witch with power of memories
Naminé was born at the same time as Roxas. When Sora released Kairi's heart from his body and turned into a heartless, Naminé was born as a special nobody. A Nobody from a Princess of Heart, a heart of pure light. This gives Naminé incredible unique powers of memory and lends to her more distinct appearance.
She is quickly captured by Organization XIII and forced to manipulate Sora's memories when he arrives. She is also forced to implant false memories in Riku Replica (Repliku), who vows to protect Naminé at all costs. She replaces the memory of Kairi with herself. She eventually helps rebel against the Organization with the help of Axel and helps Sora reach Marluxia. After Marluxia was defeated She worked with DiZ and Riku to restore Sora's memories which she says will take some time. Unfortunately it will result in Sora's memories of Castle Oblivion to be replaced. Sora, Donald and Goofy write "Thank Naminé" in their journal so they won't forget.
While Sora slept, she sensed that someone was draining Sora's memories. She worked with Riku to track down Xion. She explained Xion's connection to Sora and the importance of restoring his memories. It was soon discovered that in order to truly wake Sora, Roxas would need to return to him. Roxas was captured and placed in a data Twilight Town to live one last week. During this time Naminé realized that Roxas was being taken advantage of in the same way she was in Castle Oblivion, She tried to tell Roxas about his true identity but was stopped by DiZ. Roxas eventually made it to Sora, where she tried to tell Roxas that returning to Sora is not the end, that they will meet each other again. DiZ stopped her and ordered Riku to destroy her. Riku who grew close with Naminé over the past year instead leaves her in the care of Axel.
Naminé unlike most Nobodies gained a heart very early, or was born with a heart, its unclear. She understood that Nobodies could grow their own hearts and helped show Roxas and Axel, that they too have hearts. She eventually decides to go to the World That Never Was and free Kairi from her imprisonment. By the end of KHII she returns to Kairi's heart. We see that she and Roxas both within Kairi and Sora meet at last.
In KHIII, Kairi along with the other Guardians of Light, lose the Keyblade War and Kairi loses her heart. In this moment, Naminé is cast to the Final World as one of the many Stars. She has given up hope of ever returning, but Sora encourages her and promises to restore her. While there she is able to connect with the Lingering Will of Terra which ultimately turns the tides of the war and gives the Guardians of Light a chance to win the war. After Kairi's heart is restored she returns to it.
In the end Sora uses the power of waking and returns Naminé's heart to a Replica body that was secured by Riku Replica.
It is unclear if she will return for KHIV.
