Darkside (Quadratum Variant)
Pureblood Heartless · Quadratum Variant
Calling back to the first boss in Kingdom Hearts, the darkside appears in the initial trailer and appears to be a major threat to the City of Quadratum. It has appeared in the first 3 trailers. The city treats its arrival as a disaster, with alerts and containment barriers. The 2026 footage shows a triple Darkside ambush that overwhelms Sora’s group until Riku intervenes.
It is shown using its Dark Balls and wrapping its darkness around floating city objects.
This Quadratum variant appears to be much larger and a much more dangerous threat.
