Aqua
Keyblade Master · Guardian of light
Aqua trains alongside Terra and Ventus under Master Eraqus at the Land of Departure. She earns the rank of Keyblade Master in Birth by Sleep and tries to protect her friends as Xehanort draws them into his plans.
After Ventus loses his heart, she transforms their home into Castle Oblivion and hides him safely inside. She then sacrifices herself to save Terra's possessed body, beginning years of isolation in the Realm of Darkness.
Sora, Riku and Mickey finally bring her back in KHIII. Aqua restores the Land of Departure, helps recover Ventus, and fights as one of the 7 Guardians of Light as Terra is freed from Xehanort. The three friends are reunited after more than a decade apart.
Following Sora's disappearance, Aqua joins Terra and Ventus in searching the Realm of Darkness. At the end of Melody of Memory, Kairi chooses to continue training under her.
