Terra

Keyblade Wielder

Terra is an apprentice of Master Eraqus who dreams of becoming a Keyblade Master. His struggle to control darkness leaves him vulnerable to Xehanort's manipulation. He travels the worlds alongside Aqua and Ventus and is eventually manipulated into killing his master, Eraqus, in order to save Ventus.

In the struggle against Xehanort, his body is taken as a younger vessal for Xehanort. Terra's determination remains in his armor as the Lingering Will, while his heart continues resisting the invader. The possessed Terra is commonly referred to as Terranort leaving Xehanort mostly in control. This is why Xehanort's heartless and nobody, Ansem and Xemnas, look like Terra.

During KHIII's final conflict, Terra's heart breaks free through the Guardian and helps Sora defeat Terranort. Terra regains his body, reunites with Aqua and Ventus, and its discovered that Eraqus has been within Terra's Heart all along.

After Sora disappears, Terra accompanies Aqua and Ventus into the realm of darkness to look for him.
